Derived from Bulgarian rose fields and obtained through a strictly controlled distillation process, the resulting rose essential oil and hydrosol are free from added chemical substances.
Roses contain over 300 water-soluble volatile aromatic compounds—including alcohols, acids, aldehydes, ethers, and esters—with phenethyl alcohol being the most abundant; they also contain flavonoids and minerals. These components offer various benefits, such as improving skin dullness, roughness, and sagging; providing hydration; balancing oil and moisture levels; reducing skin sensitivity; and revitalizing the skin. Rose water is widely used in cosmetic formulations due to its superior hydrating, brightening, and antioxidant properties.
Roses are rich in Vitamin C, a water-soluble vitamin with potent antioxidant activity that effectively scavenges free radicals. By binding with free radicals and converting into dehydroascorbic acid and monodehydroascorbic acid, it neutralizes them, thereby providing significant antioxidant benefits. Additionally, roses contain abundant trace elements; notably, zinc, copper, and manganese are key components of superoxide dismutase, while selenium is essential for thioredoxin reductase and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px). These enzymes boost immune function and offer strong antioxidant effects.
Furthermore, roses are rich in vitamins A, B, E, and K, as well as tannins. These constituents are highly effective in promoting blood circulation, regulating female physiological functions, preventing frostbite and wrinkles, alleviating endocrine imbalances, and enhancing skin beauty.
