Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is a hexapeptide, also known as Argirelin, with high anti-wrinkle activity and can provide nutrients to the skin. It competes for SNAP-25 in the site of the melt-vesicle complex. When the complex is slightly unstable, the vesicle cannot effectively release neurotransmitters, which causes muscle contraction and relaxation, and achieves the goal of smoothing dynamic lines, static lines and fine lines; effectively reorganizing collagen elasticity, increasing the activity of elastin, relaxing facial lines, smoothing wrinkles, and improving relaxation;

It has the same target as botulinum toxin A, which can smooth skin texture, even skin tone, smooth wrinkles and moisturize, increase skin elasticity, and make the skin delicate and rosy

1.Enhance skin elasticity

After using the active peptide skin care cream, the R5 value of the eye corner skin elasticity parameter gradually increased to a value close to 1; the R5 values of the elasticity parameter after using the product for 6 and 8 weeks were 0.49±0.11 and 0.49±0.15, respectively.

2.Anti-wrinkle

After using the skin cream containing acetyl hexapeptide-8, the wrinkle visibility coefficient reduction rate of the skin at the corners of the eyes gradually increased; the wrinkle visibility coefficient reduction rate after 4 and 6 weeks of use was 11.81% and 12.06% respectively; the wrinkle visibility coefficient reduction rate within 8 weeks was 12.18%

3.Enhance skin firmness

VCIP's efficacy - anti-aging

1.Antioxidant

VC-IP can scavenge singlet oxygen and prevent it from oxidizing L-DOPA to dopachrome. UVB was used to irradiate hematoporphyrin and a mixture of L-DOPA containing VC-IP/L-ascorbic acid to generate singlet oxygen and regenerate dopachrome. The amount of dopachrome generated was then measured by absorbance to calculate the singlet oxygen scavenging capacity of VC-IP/L-ascorbic acid.

2.Inhibition of collagen degrading enzyme activity

Add VC-IP at a concentration of 10-50 μmol/L to human dermal fibroblasts (NHDF). The secretions were removed after 48 hours of culture.

Two collagen-degrading enzymes: MMP-2 (72 kDa) and MMP-9 (92 kDa) were evaluated in secretions by gelatin zymography.

3.UV Protection

Non-irritating fruit acid

INCI Name: Water, Passiflora edulis fruit extract, Saccharum officinale extract, Citrus limon fruit extract, Ananas sativus fruit extract, Grape fruit extract

A water-soluble extract extracted from five fruits: lemon, passion fruit, grape, pineapple and sugar cane. It is rich in alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs).

These organic acids can reduce the coagulation of keratinocytes, change the thickness of the stratum corneum, gently exfoliate, promote keratin renewal, improve the absorption of active ingredients, and accelerate the whitening effect. They can increase the moisturizing degree of the skin and ultimately improve the elasticity of the stratum corneum.

Mechanism of action: AHAs achieve the effect of reducing the coagulation of keratinocytes by interfering with ionic bonds.

Limnanthes alba seed oil

The trace components of Limnanthes alba seed oil are mainly α-tocopherol, β-tocopherol, γ-tocopherol and phytosterols.
