Experiments have shown that ultraviolet radiation damages Langerhans cells and reduces their activity. The damage of ultraviolet rays to Langerhans cells was significantly reduced after treatment with icaritin. Compared with the positive control group, 1% Ectoin can increase cell activity by 10.5% after 6 hours.
It has been confirmed that icaritin maintains the immune function of the skin by increasing the activity of damaged cells and has a soothing effect.

After irradiating cells with different doses of ionizing radiation, use an electron microscope to observe the damage to the structure of DNA molecules in cells.
Electron microscopy images confirm that 1M icaritin can significantly reduce the damage of cell DNA to ionizing radiation, and most of them can maintain a complete DNA structure.
