Temperature aging-Heat shock protein (HSP70), a molecular chaperone, plays a role in multiple stages of the protein life cycle, including protein folding, transport, refolding, and degradation. HSP70 is recognized as a core mediator of protein homeostasis.

Temperature aging-Cold shock induces mitochondrial activity, mitochondrial fusion, and fission of cold-induced RNA-binding protein (CIRBP). Extracts from Artemia aquatica protect skin cells against the adverse effects of cold shock.

According to literature reports, supercooling pressure upregulates the expression of CIRBP. In the experimental group treated with GP4G SP, the adjustment of CIRBP levels was minimal after cold shock at 32°C.

The MTT cell viability assay is based on the activity of mitochondrial dehydrogenases and serves as an indicator of mitochondrial function. Compared to the untreated control group, the viability of normal human keratinocytes treated with 6 hours of 4°C cold exposure was significantly reduced. Under identical stress conditions, the viability of normal human keratinocytes treated with 1% GP4G SP was effectively protected.
