Modern Research: Forsythia Suspensa, Anemarrhena Asphodeloides and Pueraria Lobata are reported to regulate sebum secretion, provide antioxidant benefits, improve microcirculation, and exhibit antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties.
1.Promotes CaSR expression;
2.Activates the CaSR-mediated p120-catenin and PLCγ1 pathways, as well as the ERK and p38 pathways;
3.When CaSR is blocked, low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan fails to promote HaCaT cell differentiation;
4.When CaSR is blocked, the ability of low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan to activate the CaSR-p120-catenin-PLCγ1 signaling pathway is abolished.

Experimental Results: The low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan was found to effectively promote the expression of FLG and Caspase-14, and exhibited a favorable dose-response relationship even at low concentrations.


Immunohistochemical analysis of the dorsal skin lesion area showed that:
The expression levels of the differentiation marker proteins Loricrin and Filaggrin in the epidermal tissue of the low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan group were significantly higher than those in the model group. Low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan can effectively promote the differentiation of keratinocytes in damaged skin.

Experimental Results:
In a low-calcium environment, low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan can induce both transient and sustained increases in intracellular calcium concentration. Thus, even when the stratum corneum barrier is damaged and extracellular calcium in the epidermis is significantly depleted, it can still raise intracellular calcium levels in keratinocytes, thereby promoting their normal differentiation.

The rate of barrier damage recovery in mice treated with low-molecular-weight oat β-glucan was significantly accelerated, with particularly notable effects at 48 h and 72 h.

Human fibroblasts were cultured with 0.5% MG-60 and then irradiated with UVB at 20 mJ/cm².
Two days later, the cells were harvested and counted. ★ UV irradiation causes cell damage and reduces cell viability. MG-60 can alleviate such UV-induced

Inhibits skin roughness


Application of SDS leads to skin roughness. Co-application with MG-60 markedly inhibits this condition.
A similar inhibitory effect on skin roughness was also observed when MG-60 was applied in advance.
