2% Nonapeptide-1 Serum

Nonapeptide-1, known as the "age spot eraser," is a bioactive small-molecule biomimetic peptide with skin-brightening properties.
When keratinocytes in the stratum corneum are exposed to UV radiation, they release large amounts of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH). When α-MSH binds to its receptors, it triggers a hundred-fold increase in melanin production. Nonapeptide-1 competitively blocks the receptor sites on melanocytes for various signaling factors. By binding to the natural receptor MC1-R (melanocortin 1 receptor) instead of α-MSH, it weakens the activity of melanocytes, reduces melanin production, and delivers an evening and brightening effect to the skin.

Niacinamide
Niacinamide, also known as nicotinamide, is the amide form of nicotinic acid.
Shandong Kunda uses natural sweet potatoes and cassava from the Yimeng Mountain old revolutionary base area as its primary raw materials. Employing the latest bio-fermentation technology and strictly controlling nicotinic acid content, it produces high-quality niacinamide.
1% Niacinamide
Brightening & Evening Skin Tone
Niacinamide acts on existing melanin, reducing its transfer to surface skin cells and thereby minimizing excessive pigmentation.
It interferes with the signaling pathways between keratinocytes and melanocytes, reducing melanin production.
When some melanin inevitably reaches the skin's surface, niacinamide accelerates skin cell turnover, promoting the shedding of melanin-containing cells.
Thirty women aged 20–40 years were administered the treatment once in the morning and once in the evening daily for a continuous period of 2 months, with testing performed every 2 weeks.
Niacinamide significantly reduces pigmentation spots, demonstrating remarkable and lasting whitening effects without inducing a "rebound effect."
Carnosine
Collagen in the dermis (yellowish-gray) is one of the primary pigments affecting skin tone. When dermal collagen reacts with sugars via the Maillard reaction, it forms Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs). This process turns the collagen from yellowish-gray to yellowish-brown, causing the skin to lose elasticity and appear dull and yellow.
Carnosine is a naturally occurring dipeptide with a wide range of biological functions. In recent years, it has been widely used as a key anti-glycation ingredient. Its structure mimics the glycation sites on proteins, allowing it to act as a "sacrificial agent" and react with sugars to reduce overall protein glycation levels.
Beyond inhibiting glycation, carnosine also plays a crucial role in processing already glycated proteins. It binds to glycated proteins to form a "carnosine-carbonyl-protein" complex. This complex is then exported from cells, binds to specific receptors, and is ultimately degraded in the lysosomes.
